У «летних детей» кости более широкие и крепкие.
Ученые Великобритании провели интересное и полезное исследование, в котором участвовало 7000 малышей. Они выявили, что дети, которые родились летом, имеют достаточно крепкий костный скелет, кости у них шире, чем у детей, рожденных в другие времена года. Ученые предполагают, что это связано с солнечной активностью, посредством которой вырабатывается большое количество витамина D, как у мамы, так и у будущего малыша, который и отвечает за рост и формирование костей.
«Более широкие кости соответственно будут более крепкими. И в будущем они снизят риск переломов вследствие остеопороза, — утверждает профессор Джон Тобиас, — так что формирование костей даже во время внутриутробного периода очень важно для всей последующей жизни». Также прочные широкие кости снижают риск потенциальных переломов у детей.
Конечно же, не стоит фанатично проводить целые дни на солнце будущим мамам, речь идет о том, что надо чаще гулять на свежем воздухе, при этом принимая солнечные ванны.
Летом рождаются одни богатыри.
Ученые того же института пришли к выводу, что дети, рожденные летом порядком выше своих ровесников. 7000 детей, рожденным в 90-е годы, в возрасте 10 лет ученые впервые замерили рост, и уже на этом этапе оказалось, что «летние» на 0,5 см выше «зимних». Это явление также связано с теплым летним солнышком, и накоплением витамина D у будущего ребенка. Выходит, что летом рождаются настоящие русские богатыри!
Дети, рожденные летом, склонны к близорукости.
В Израильском университете ученые проводили исследование, пытаясь установить взаимосвязь между месяцем рождения ребенка и вероятностью развития у него близорукости в дальнейшей жизни.
